About Clem

Hi, I’m Clem Pickering and I’m an ICF credentialed (ACC) and Barefoot Coaching trained Coach. Over my 24 years in tech I’ve worked in a wide variety of hands-on roles, including software engineer, agile coach and consultant. I’ve spent many years leading teams in areas such as software development, devOps, testing, architecture, people operations and tech academies, helping them thrive and become engaging, enjoyable and effective.

I’ve worked at several highly successful organisations on rapid growth journeys from start-up to scale helping them develop modern, inclusive and engaging company culture. And also as a consultant helping both private and public sector clients adopt modern approaches to software delivery and operations. More recently, before founding my coaching practice, I specialised in creating academy programmes to help people from all backgrounds get into fulfilling careers in tech.

As a coach I believe in a person-centred approach, working along side you to help give you the space and time to think. Drawing on coaching tools where required, my style is built around creating a safe space in which to talk and reflect. And through questioning and challenge in a way that works for you, to help you overcome what’s stopping you take the steps forward you want to take.
